Today’s Slab’em and Sell’em is a 2013 Allen & Ginter New York Mets David Wright card graded a 9 by Degree.
The card is nice and I believe it would have earned a 9 or higher at any grading company. The centering seems to be what dragged the score down.
Maybe my search skills are diminishing but I can’t find one of these graded on Beckett or PSA.
Wright spent his injury plagued career with the New York Mets and won two gold gloves, two silver sluggers and is a seven time All-Star.
In 2025 he was inducted into the MLB Hall of Fame and the Mets retired his No.5.
This card should be a collector’s item for a Met’s fan no matter what company grades it.
Remember a collector collects the player, not the plastic.
