The card is a defining moment card commemorating when Phillips honored a14-year-old fan named Connor Echols by attending his baseball game.
Echols sent him a tweet asking him to do so and Phillips did it.
Phillips played for the Cleveland Indians, Reds, Atlanta Braves, Los Angels Angels, and Boston Red Sox. He finished his career in 2018 as a three time All-Star, four time Gold Glover and a Silver Slugger.
From a flipper stand point the card has everything against it, as it is not graded by PSA and it isn’t Topps or Bowman.
But if you are a Phillips fan, a Reds fan or Echols then this card could easily be added to your collection.
By the way, if my search skills are still accurate, it appears Echols played outfield for the Dayton Flyers in 2019. The baseball trail goes cold after that.
