Second Degree submission returns with two 10s

My second submission to Degree Grading containing 10 cards has returned in an awesome container, which I think is even better than the first one.

This order returned with two Degree 10s, three 9s, three 8s and two 7s.

I mailed my submission on Nov. 17 (see story) and it returned to me on Feb. 7, a day earlier than predicted and a day after one of the most boring birthday’s in history.

No one even brought me a Colorado Mocha. (If you feel bad for me, you can PayPal birthday money to rowen70@hotmail.com) Hey others on the internet collect free money why not try to join in.)

Now back to the cards.

So in total it took my cards 83 days to come back home. Not bad compared to others.

Now the grades.

A 2008 Eli Manning and a 2013 Eric Davis garnered a 10.

Now I have only submitted a few cards so far on this journey and these two are my first 10s.

Both have been in plastic sleeves for years.

The Manning was part of a collection I acquired and I had no clue how it was treated before me, but I assume sleeved.

I’m thrilled that these cards returned a 10 and wonder if the same would happen if they were submitted to Beckett. But I’m not cracking them and resubmitting to find out.

The Degree 9s are Craig Biggio, Tim McGraw, and a 2014 Topps Red Hot Greg Holland Kansas City Royals cards.

The Tim McGraw Card is from the 2025 Topps Now set and hopefully will be sought after by Country Music fans.

On that note, a friend and I once got thrown out of a Tim McGraw Faith Hill concert for having a camera. That was back in the day and for another blog story coming up.

The Degree 8s are Pete Rose, Andy Van Slyke, and Jurickson Profar.

My Degree 7s are a Troy Aikman and a 1996 Pinnacle Marino, Favre, Sanders and Emmitt card.

This submission has a little something for all.

The Biggio I'm sure is already sold as I have a Houston Astro fan that grabs those right up.

I will be pricing and listing these cards soon and yes I know they are Degree and not PSA but not everyone is in it for PSA or the money.

Some like the enjoyment of a graded card or the player.

If you are one of the few readers I have out there, if you see a card you are interesting in, feel free to leave a comment.
