One Draftkings PICK 6 attempt successful, another one blown by Bryce Harper

Despite the fact that Cam Schlittler and Chris Sale were Draftking Stat Slice failures, Friday night was still a successful night of betting on PICK 6 for me.

I chose a successful PICK 6 lineup consisting of Nolan Arenado, Mookie Betts, the stat slice, Brandon Lowe, J.T. Realmuto, Luis Robert Jr., and Marcus Semien.

I just missed having three successful PICK 6 lineups as Bryce Harper was the bum in a lineup that teamed him up with Luis Arraez, Betts, Alec Bohm, Pete Crow Armstrong, and Ohtani. Instead of a double digit win, I got back .81 cents.

Another PICK 6 consisting of Arraez, Bohm, Byron Buxton, the stat slice, Crow-Armstrong, Fernando Tatis and Bryan Rocchio turned into a successful PICK 5 as Rocchio was pardoned.

Overall I doubled my money for the night, didn’t get rich as my bets are conservative.

I must also take a moment to celebrate a couple successful Homerun PICK 2 from July. I selected the combo of Vaughn Grisson and Ceddane Rafaela and Rafaela and Marcus Semien.

All three homered and my $2 in bets turned into over $94. That was a good a Draftings day.

From container to soil in 90 days; Does it work?

Today I went to KFC and ordered the Chicken Fried Steak special.

It was the first time in a while since the last time I ordered this item.

Bombas Homepage

In the past it came in the standard star foam container, but it seems that Yum Brands are getting more earth friendly as this container says it is made out of plant materials and will turn to soil within 90 days.

So I don’t do much gardening, so I don’t know much about compost and if you have to tear  the container to bits in order for it to change to soil or if you can just throw it outside and let nature take over.

So that is what I’m doing, I’m sitting it outside and plan to monitor it for 90 days and see what happens. So here is a photo of day 1, Aug. 12. I expect the container to be licked clean by the neighborhood strays and wildlife by tomorrow.

But here we go, on the 90 day container to soil challenge.

Stay tuned for updates and photos.
