Today’s Slab’em and Sell’em is for St. Louis Cardinal and Pittsburgh Pirate fans.
It is a 2013 Hometown Heroes Rivalry card featuring Andy Van Slyke in both uniforms. The card highlights when Van Slyke was traded from the Cardinals to the Pirates in 1987.
The card is graded an 8 NM by Degree.
I know everyone prefers PSA or maybe Beckett. I myself prefer Beckett but they are making me nervous wait times as my latest submission is still there after three months. Which I know three months is nothing compared to some wait times.
Anyway, currently I’m leaning toward Degree. They are affordable and the wait time has been right on target. Also they return your top loaders and send your cards in a case.
And if you sell a Degree card to a flipper who doesn’t like Degree, they can always crack it and use another grader.
