A positive chat with Beckett Customer Service

Today I chatted with Beckett Customer Service about my current order being graded.

I mailed the order off on Dec. 3, 2025 and they received on Dec. 6.

It was my fourth submission to Beckett using the 45 day return window.

My first submission was sent in August and returned in November. My second submission was mailed in September and returned in November and my third submission was mailed in October and came home in January.

My fourth submission was sent the first week of December and is still there.

Like all the others I was watching the progress on the Beckett website and one day the cards had serial numbers. I clicked and could see the grades of other cards like mine and thought well they should be home soon.

But the days kept going by on the calendar and no cards have returned.

Then I clicked on the cards and instead of being able to see the graded card results, I got a no record found response.

So I thought something has happened to the cards. I tried to find a working phone number for Beckett and struck out.

So I sent an email and received a response that all is well and that they were working on my order.

So I did the math and counted space for the holidays and even snow days, but still no cards.

Then I rechecked options to make sure it was a 45 day window, but now that option says 75 day window and the 45 day option is gone.

I debated with myself and concluded that it was 45 days when I sent the cards.

So on the email response I received, there is a phone number, 972-665-6030. So I decided to call.

I got a very polite customer service worker to share my concern with.

He confirmed that the 45 day option is now 75 days and said that the change was made after the first of the year and assured me that my order is being worked on and should be done the first part of April.

I thanked him for the information and told him I wasn’t sure I could speak to a human after reading so many negative stories online.

He said they have beefed up the telephone staff so hopefully there will be more positive stories.

So for now my mind is at ease knowing that my Jeter and Sale and the other cards will come home in April.

But I’m sad that the 45 day window option is gone.
