After a brief losing streak on Draftkings, I finally got back to the winner’s circle Thursday night with two accurate Pick 6 lineups and a Pick 4 lineup.
Thanks goes to the Seattle Seahawks and the Los Angeles Rams for allowing the game to go to overtime which gave my lineups the time needed to become winners.
Now if the Seahawks would not have went for two and instead settled for the tie with time on the clock, I may have had more in winnings since the Rams would have gotten the ball back.
But the what ifs are only what ifs as I will be happy with the final winnings.
In all I had 10 lineups and a couple of the others just missed being perfect, but I’m okay with getting my bet back on a 5/6.
I didn’t track a play by play of how the winning lineups came to be, but as I eluded to earlier, the overtime period is the hero.
Late in the fourth quarter, Matt Stafford completed a pass to Konata Mumpfield which secured my perfect Pick 4 and got me a step closer to perfect Pick 6 lineups.
With the game tied and the Rams missing a go ahead field goal, overtime began.
With that Sam Darnold took the opportunity to complete the needed 222.5 passing yards to tun his circle green. Zach Charbonnet turned his circle green by passing 32.5 rushing yards and securing a second perfect Pick 6.
I missed another perfect Pick 6 lineup by six kicking points as Jason Myers was only able to net two points, a major decline from last week.
Another Pick 6 failed short because Blake Corum failed to net 59.5 rushing yards.
My Pick 3 failed short because Nate Landman was unable to secure eight tackles and or assists and was instead stopped at five.
One of my Pick 4 lineups failed short as Kenneth Walker was only able to gain 100 yards instead of the required 106.5.
Again I picked too many to score TD’s as my touchdown lineup fell short when Parkinson and Kyren Williams were unable to find the end zone unlike Rashed Shaheed, Corum and Charbonnet did.
