San Francisco Giant Rafael Devers homered in the 9th inning of the Giants vs. A’s game last night to tie the game and setting the foundation for rookie Victor Bericoto to slam the game winning homer soon afterwards.
The homer made Giant’s fans happy and me happy as I had picked Devers and Arizona Diamondbacks Ketel Marie to homer in a PICK Two on Draft Kings.
Marte homered earlier in the evening and I needed Devers to homer not secure a $25 or greater win.
Devers did in his last at bat in the last inning on an 0-2 pitch.
Talk about drama.
The successful PICK Two paid $33.77 on a $1 bet and was most of my $60 winnings for the evening.
I have chose the pair tonight in a PICK 2 in hopes history will repeat itself.
