My Draftkings winless slump ends with a Perfect Pick 8

I have been in a Draftkings slump that hopefully ended Friday with a perfect PICK 8.

I guess I should say the players I choose have been slumping therefore causing me to slump. 

Aaron Judge, Ohtani, and Mike Trout have been in a homer slump which has cost me and maybe other players.

I have been using the core four of Judge, Ohtani, Kyle Schwarber and Trout on the home run contests, but lately it has been rare that even two of them homer on the same night.

The slump has encouraged me to abandoned what I have been doing in other categories.

So last night I decided to select players to get at least one hit, and finally I got a lineup right.

The combination of Freddie Freeman, Hunter Goodman, Troy Johnston, Brooks Lee, Connor Corby, Ohtani, Luke Raley and Julio Rodriguez all got some kind of hit in their games.

Ohtani was a stat slice, so I also placed him in a PCIK 2 homer lineup with Schwarber and that worked.

I bet a conservative $1 on my PICK 8 and received back $14.67.

Not bad.

Today we are at again. Freeman has had a couple of homers this week so I’m pairing him up with Ronald Acuna for a homer PICK 2.
