My first Draftkings Pick4 experience is a win

 This weekend I played DraftKings Pick6 for the first time and I’m hooked. A free $50 promo persuaded me to give it a try.

My first auto redemption card is Chris Sale

 

It finally happened.

Today, for the first time in my 43 years of collecting, I pulled a  

Topps redemption card for an autograph. 

Now I have pulled autos out of packs before, but never a redemption card.

This is merry Christmas to me, as the autograph will be a Chris Sale autograph, the Atlanta Braves 2024 Cy Young Award Winner.

I didn’t make a video of the pull. One reason, I don’t have the equipment to make good card pulling videos and second, I don’t like to be on camera.

But I assure you there was joy and excitement. I was on the phone with a friend, and all I could say was “Finally! Whoo hoo! I got one!”

And how cool that my first Topps redemption is of an Atlanta Brave, my all time favorite team.

I know many will think how awesome, a Chris Sale autograph, while others will be like who cares, its not Ohtani.

But this could have been an autograph of a bat boy and I would be excited, as to me collecting should be about the love of the game and the hobby and not always the money.

DENVER, COLO. — Charlie “Chuck Nasty” Blackmon retired from the game of baseball today. After singling in the third inning against the Los Angles Dodgers, he left the field for the last time with 1,804 hits and 227 homers.
