A 1,285 Day Wait for a GlenAllen Hill TTM

When I mailed Glenallen Hill a baseball card and an autograph request on March 7, 2011, my mother was still alive, stamps were 44 cents, my best friend and I had never fought and I didn’t have a diagnosed lung disease.
Well 1,285 days later the card has returned and all of the above has changed.
According to posts on http://www.sportscardforum.com/forum.php?referrerid=72224
it appears Hill has dug into his mail pile and is responding to requests that have been in limbo for years.
When I mailed Hill a request over three years ago, he had success recorded from 2010 but none since.
This week, five requests mailed from 2011-12 were marked with success.
For me, the 1,285 day wait beats out the 918 day wait for Ray Fontenot, the 826 day wait for Kevin Appier, the 536 day wait for Eddie Perez, the 332 day wait for Steve Lyons, the 315 day wait for Henry Cotto and the 303 day wait for Craig Reynolds.

Bob Boone and three others respond to TTM requests

Addicted to the Outdoors
Greg Hansell, Bob Boone, Joel Skinner, and Scott Ruffcorn are my latest additions to my Through The Mail autograph collection.
Hansell is a former pitcher for the Minnesota Twins, Pittsburgh Pirates, Los Angeles Dodgers and Milwaukee Brewers.
He responded to my TTM request in a short 19 days.
Washington Nationals’ Assistant General Manager Bob Boone took time out to respond to my TTM request in just 48 days.
Boone is a former catcher for the Phildelphia Phillies, Cailfornia Angels and Kansas City Royals.
Another former catcher Joel Skinner, signed two cards for me after responding to my TTM request in just 30 days.
Skinner played for the Cleveland Indians, New York Yankees, and the Chicago White Sox.
He is the current manager of the Charlotte Knights.
Scott Ruffcorn pitched for the White Sox and the Phillies.
He took 54 days to respond to my TTM request.
