The quest for a Draft Kings Perfect 8 scores a Perfect 7

My quest for a perfect Pick 8 continues to fall just short on Draftkings.

But the latest attempt didn’t fail because of a player not achieving the prediction, but instead a player that didn’t play resulting in a perfect Pick 7.

The MLB playoffs are in full swing and took day two of the playoff season to score a perfect Pick 7.

A collection of New York Yankees, Los Angeles Dodgers and Sand Diego Padres delivered.

I picked Cody Bellenger, Teoscar Hernandez, Aaron Judge, Manny Machado, Ohtani, Ben Rice, Fernando Tatis and Tommy Edman in hopes of a Pick 8.

The group needed to achieve two or more hits, runs and or RBIs, with Ohtani needing to achieve three or more.

However, Edman did not make the lineup and did not have to enter the game so the attempt became a perfect Pick 7, as the chosen ones achieved my prediction.

The Should Have Bet More, thought ran through my head, but I will accept a $27.50 payout.

I also scored a perfect Pick 4 as I chose Judge, Ohtani, Rice and Tatis with the same goal.

That resulted in a $11.57 pay out.

So on day two of the playoffs I won more than I had in the last month of the season.
