Texas filmmaker's Tony Romo documentary now on Amazon

This week I did something I haven't done in a while. I interviewed someone for a story.

The person I interviewed was Chris Hanna, the filmmaker who created  “Now or Never: A Tony Romo Story,” a documentary now streaming on Amazon Prime.

I have been a journalist for over 20 years and interviewed many, but the last five years I have been in a slumber. Don't know if this is what it took to wake me up, but we will see. The following is the story and a couple photos that Chris supplied for the story.

Diego's Lesson (Dream entry)

Like many people, I spent a portion of life working at Walmart.

Living on the moon (Dream Entry)

OUTER SPACE — My dreams are so vivid and wild sometimes that it is time to start blogging about them.  I should have started a long time ago but better late than never.

The Flu

Your presence gave me chills on Sunday.

By Monday my body ached from your grip.

The Lonesome Locust

Have you heard the Lonesome Locust?

He is the last locust of the season still singing.

Stop. Look up at the tree

Do you hear that tune?

The last sounds of the season.

Lucky to still be alive, least that’s what one might think.

He has lost his peers and still plays his tymbal.

Still searching for another but none is there.

Slowly the tune ends and the sounds of silence returns.

The lonesome locust has played possibly his last tune

and at least one lonesome human was there to hear it.

Fantasy Football says goodbye to Tom Brady

For the first time in two decades, fantasy football players will kick off the new season without Tom Brady as a quarterback option.

For me Brady is the most notable name that will be missing from roster options this year.

Over his career, I used Brady 204 times. He scored me 4,071 fantasy points and averaged 19.95 fantasy points per week.

He was my 12th ranked player and the most used player.

Aaron Rodgers is next with 134 selections.

Two of Brady’s former teammates also join the retirement list.

Sony Michel and Gio Bernard hung up their cleats and will be missing from fantasy rosters.

Michael was on two of my top scoring teams, the 181 and the 179 rosters. Brady was the QB of the 181 roster.

Other notables missing from fantasy rosters because of retirement are A.J. Green, Corey Davis, Josh Lamb, Alfred Morris, Kerryon Johnson,
