For the first time in a couple years I decided to dabble in my TTM and team fan pack hobby.
Using information from fans on Sportscard forum, I sent postcards to the Boston Red Sox, Chicago Cubs, New York Yankees and St. Louis Cardinals.
The hope funpacks will arrive. Some fans report receiving bobbleheads from the Yankees.
I also sent an email to the Chicago White Sox.
The last time I mailed out fanpack requests was 2018. It resulted in failures from the Salt Lake Bees, Cleveland Browns, Miami Dolphins and the Cubs.
I also decided it is time to give up on some cards that I sent out months or even years ago.
I mailed former football player Blair Thomas on Sept. 1, 2018. No success.
I mailed former Denver Bronco Bobby Humphrey on Aug. 27, 2018. No response
Former California Angel Brian Downing on May 30, 2018.
No response.
Former San Francisco Demeco Ryan on May 19, 2018. No response.
Eddie Zosky, mailed on May 14, 2018, No response. Bob Melvin on April 30, 2018. No response.
Joe Orsulak, mailed on Feb. 17, 2018. No response.
I mailed former Montreal Expo Bob Sebra on Feb. 16, 2018. Sadly, he never responded and later passed away in 2020.
