Mike Kingery Responds After 264 Days, Followed by Gubicza and Oberkfell Autographs

Mike Kingery, Ken Oberkfell and Mark Gubicza autographs arrived this week

Autographs from Mike Kingery, Mark Gubicza and Ken Oberkfell arrived in the mail this week.
Kingery was a long wait, 264 days.
Players who have taken longer are Craig Reynolds, 303 days; Eddie Perez, 536 days; Kevin Appier, 826 days, and Ray Fontenot, 918 days.

It makes a collector wonder if the cards get lost in the mail or if they sit in a pile of fan mail for a while. Kingery is a former outfielder who playe for the Kansas City Royals, Seattle Mariners, San Francisco Giants, Oakland A’s Colorado Rockies, and Pittsburgh Pirates.

He made it to the playoffs with the Rockies in 1995. Gubicza is a former all-star pitcher who played for the Royals and Anahiem Angels.
Oberkfell is a former infileder who played with the St. Louis Cardinals, Atlanta Braves, Pirates, San Francisco Giants, Houston Astros and Angels.

He is a member of the 1982 World Series Champion Cardinals and played in the 1989 World Series as a Giant. I mailed Gubicza and Oberkfell on the same day and both responses returned the same day.

All three players have a 100 percent response rate recorded.
