First up the St. Louis Cardinals responded to my Fan Pack request with a photo of the stadium and some cards including Paul DeJong, Miles Mikolas and Carlos Martinez. Not the Pujols and Molina I hoped for, but it works.
Another TTM success to report from the state of Missouri is from former Cleveland Indians pitcher Scott Bailes.
I mailed two cards to Bailes at a Springfield, Mo. address on Aug. 5 and on Aug. 17 one card came back signed.
That is the first time I have had a player keep a card and I’m good with it.
Thank you to all the players who take the time to sign for fans.
Some requests that I sent out years ago still haven’t returned.
One of those is Eric Hinske. I mailed Hinskie at an Arizona address with no luck to report.
Also Dave Anderson did not respond to a request sent to the Salt Lake Bees in 2016.
