Steve Trout Success After 897 Days

My latest TTM success is from former MLB pitcher Steve Trout and it took 897 days. Yes, 897 days.
I mailed Trout a 1988 Donruss card on Dec. 16, 2013 and it came back to me June 1, 2016 signed.
Trout also enclosed a flyer promoting a book he has co-authored with Marlene Matthias called Loosey-Goosey Baseball.
According to the flyer the pair will appear at banquets, day care centers, schools and boys and girls clubs.

You may be shocked that 897 days is not my longest wait to receive a TTM.
Ray Fontenot took 918 days and Glenn Allen Hill took 1,285 days.
Can’t say it enough, never give up.
I also received my card back from former catcher MLB  catcher Mark Parent.
I mailed Parent on May 16, 2016 at the Lakewood Blueclaws address in New Jersey.
The card came back unsigned with my note and the envelope appears to have suffered some trauma.
I think I’m filing it back in the stack as if it never happened and will try again another day.
