TTM Success: Andre Dawson and Shawon Dunston

Major League Baseball Hall of Fame member Andre Dawson and former big leaguer Shawon Dunston are off my attempt to contact list and officially logged as through the mail autograph successes.
On Dec. 14 I sent Dawson three baseball cards with a $45 check made payable to the Andre Dawson Foundation.
The foundation assists with the education, social enrichment and development of amateur athletics of the disadvantage youth as well as assisting in the education testing and counseling of those fighting against Sickle Cell Anemia, cancer and other diseases.
I wasn't sure of the proper amount to send as many sites suggests that Dawson will sign a card for as little as $5.
So if you want a guaranteed autograph for your collection and don't mind giving to a charity, Dawson maybe your guy.
In just 13 days the request paid off I have three autograph cards from the "Hawk" and the foundation has a donation.
Dawson began his career with the Montreal Expos in 1976, went to the Chicago Cubs  in 1987, the Boston Red Sox in 1994 and wrapped up his career with the Florida Marlins in 1996.
In 2010 Dawson became one of 292 in the Baseball Hall of Fame.
My other success, Shawon Dunston, included a surprise.
I sent the former Cub a card on Oct. 25 and 64 days later I received the card plus two others signed.
The former All Star began his career with the Cubs in 1985, where he was teammates with Dawson.
Dunston went on to play with the San Francisco Giants, Pittsburgh Pirates, Cleveland Indians, St. Louis Cardinals, and the New York Mets.
He wrapped up his career in 2002 with the Giants. That year he made it to the World Series against the Anaheim Angles where he got nine at bats and belted one home run and drove in three.
