It finally arrived. A few months ago I pulled my first Topps autograph redemption card for a Chris Sale Cy Young card.
Today after weeks of waiting it arrived.
A #19 of 25 Topps Certified Autograph Issue.
When the Fed Ex Driver arrived my first thought was, what did I order?
Then my favorite delivery driver gets out and says I need your ID for this one. At first I was like huh?
Then it clicked, this must be the autograph.
I have been collecting since 1981 and this is the first time I have received a redemption card.
I obtained it in a Topps Now order, a collection I got hooked on last year.
Many times when I order cards from Topps Now, it will say look for autographs, but I just figured I’ll never have a big enough order to be blessed with an autograph.
So when I placed an order for two Chris Sale Cy Young cards I certainly didn’t expect an autograph. But here it is and as a long time Atlanta Braves fan I’am very thrilled.
